I'm a guy who lives in the western suburbs of Sydney, NSW. I have always been into the great outdoors and camping and 4WDing has just been something I have always done. I have passed this passion on to my kids who are now rapidly growing up and they love to go camping and always enjoy the touring holidays I try and take at least once a year.

My first 2 cars were both 4WD's when I was in my teens which used to get me in and out of all sorts of trouble, but they were just the best times. It was quite a few years sadly before we finally managed to get another 4WD and by that time I was married and we had 3 kids, it was something we needed to do as we were trying to take the old Magna work wagon places no Magna should try and go.

So now we have had a trusty 1999 NL Pajero Escape, first weekend we had it, we bogged it down to the axles in soft sand attempting to turn around on a narrow fire trail, the old road tyres on it did nothing to help the situation. Since then, the Pajero has travelled many thousands of km's exploring and touring around primarily New South Wales, but with trips into Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

The NL Pajero got caughtup in 2020 airbag recall and was purchased back by Mitsubishi, so in Feb 2020, we took ownership of a 2006 gen 4 Pajero Exceed which I am in the process of getting ready for touring etc.
