Junction Falls are the next falls you come to downstream of Adelina Falls, but, you get 2 waterfalls for the price of 1 here, one on the right on Lawson Creek and one on the left as you firsdt descend down the steps on Ridge Creek. Originally called Stanley Falls in 1871.

Both falls look very different, the one on Ridge creek has a multitude of mini cascades whereas the one on the right on Lawson Creek is a more traditional looking set of falls, similar to many waterfalls in the mountains with some cascades at the top then a plunge to a pool at the bottom.

There is a great old bridge here that spans both creeks and eventually as you head around to the right, there is a good picnic table here to have a rest or some lunch.

These falls are part of the main waterfalls circuit walk and are easy enough for children to cope with. Just be wary of the slippery rocks if you decide to have a scramble around the falls, they are super slippery.
